XBox 360 Turtle Beach headset help?

Hi everyone, I have the Turtle Beach X11's and I can't hear the game volume through them (footsteps, bombs being planted, bombs being defused, heartbeat sensors, etc.) but I can hear chat through them. I was wondering how to make it so that I can hear both. Please answer ASAP. Thank you(;
