Most motherboards have a build in sound card. Yours does too, so no extra sound card is needed. But a separate sound card will give a better sound and might even help push out an extra frame or two when gaming, as it offloads your processor. Most users do not require a separate sound card though, so give it a try first without and if you feel like the sound quality is too disappointing for example, then you can always add a separate sound card still in the future.
