Xbox 360 remote trouble??????????

my 360 wireless remote is acting really wierd, it keeps turning itself off. its now the battery because 2 of my remotes were doing the same thing, right after another. while im playing a game the lighting on the remote circles the (X) button thing. anyone know whats going on with it?
