IPod app LaDiDa? Help?

So I bought this app Ladida a while back and it's been working great! But then I just recently updated it and now to record I need to hav one of those microphone headset thing. But I have the newest version of iPod touch with the microphone and speaker built into it? So i dont need the headset. don't no what to do cuz it wouldn't let record anymore without the headset thing. Please help? Thanks
