If you have a CCNA....?

and are studying to get the CCVP, have experience on an IT helpdesk dealing with desktop issues, phone issues, network issues, email etc. is it best to specialise in CCVP, CCIE, Avaya etc or get more qualifications in other areas i.e. server?
